Mr. Annisul Huq, President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) can you give us teh details of the demanded a Tk 6000 crore rescue package. I mean justification or breakdown of how you came to that amount and which industry will get which part of it etc etc.
Much of the economists think that BD will not have much impact of the global recession, heck I think they are very right. We do export a bit of goods but none of them falls under luxery items so why do you think our export will be have such a massive hit ?
Second of all , some signs indicate that US may have started to recover…. so why bail out now ? would you need anotehr bailout later if the recession is longer
We could take a lesson from AIG’s spendings and if there is a pkg at the expense of teh BD tax payers, I say we take all precautions to make sure Mr Anisul’s and few others ass will be on fire is there is any miss-use of the money.
